a lot of the albums after Lovesexy are the petulant screams of a child saying 'let me out of this record contract right now!' Prince released even more music in the later years partially as a way to get out of his contract and the overall quality suffered. Of course Prince being Prince there are still moments of greatness on albums like Chaos and disorder and Diamonds and Pearls.
